About Us

I am a firefighter who built this platform for multiple reasons:

  1. I was tired of cookie cutter solutions. Having to request to build customized features was exhausting and constantly seeing features on screen that I didn’t need or want was frustrating.
  2. I was spending way too much time uploading to NFIRS/NERIS when I could have been spending time with my family.
  3. Reporting was a task. The solution we were using for a number of years never gave us the reporting in a readable format that was easy to customize.
  4. Accountability was an issue. Any Admin could mark an item “Reviewed As” another admin, and you’d never know who it truly was, raising security concerns.
  5. Accountability options were limited to a single type of fingerprint scanner. I wanted flexibility. I wanted more.

FD FireBASE ( Fire Department Backend for Attendance, Scheduling and Emergencies ) was born.

I sat down with all the leaders in our department and worked to create a fully customized solution just for us. It was mindblowing how fast I had it online, and how accurate it was. It is for these reasons that we gathered a team, and are working to share our success with you!
